Wallful of words, because my camera was, and still is, bloody screwed up. I hope I get the photos from the various photographers soon! They took like, a million photos and videos. :D
( Her Last Bachelorette Day )Headed for 9th granduncle's place after work. Machiam Chinese New Year! So many people came, from the Lims to the Neos to the Gohs, most of us had to stay at the corridor. They were talking about the
ancient times when Tammy was
my age, and now she's married, haha. Supper was Pizza Hut and KFC. Fancy binging just a day before the wedding. Oh, Tammy was super nervous!
The surprise of the night was that Di brought his
girlfriend (!) along. He's got great guts.

I thought I was rather prejudiced about her, but I was wrong. Zai said really loudly that she was not, I quote,
"自己人", and was not required at the scene when we wanted to take a group photo. Yeah, that's the greatest elder brother for you. Fortunately, the girl can't understand Hokkien.
We stayed till about 1am, bloated and drained. The 8ths sent me home (loved the night breeze, as usual), and it was amusing when Di paid so much attention to his gf that he totally forgot about us. Girlfriends, tsk. Zai was being amazingly and surprisingly sweet, and offered to walk me home.
( The Ultimate Showdown )17th November 2007 marked the day of yet another marriage in the family and KBT. But it's the first in the KBT team, whoo!
♥ It was exciting and fun, to say the least.
We barely slept, and Adrian & I had to pop panadol. Gah. HuiYi and XiuXiu picked me up at about 5.30am. Tammy was like, WHOA beautiful! Okay, so she was
supposed to be. At 6.50am, there was a super long honk from four cars entering the carpark. Great move man, it probably woke the entire neighbourhood. We're went traditional style, and played some
interesting games before the groom could enter. We made YiWu and his "brothers" eat
30 hot dog buns, then we made YiWu sing Tammy's favourite song -
Old McDonald. (I'm serious!) Next, he wrote "I love you" with his butt. Lastly, he had to tie a big ass ribbon on his head and present himself as a gift to Tammy. (9th granduncle's fabulous idea, he's such a
lovely father-in-law) At 7.30am on the dot, we graciously let the groom enter the house. Romantic moment. ;)

Serangoon. It was crazy and tiring, but every trip made was necessary. One word,
shagged.

Back home to nap for an hour (I have never been more tired within such a short period of time!), bathe, and change. HuiYi, XiuXiu and I had an appointment at
Artistic Touch to do our hair together. HuiYi drove us to
Park Hotel, where we did our makeup in a snap and familiarised ourselves with the ballroom & guest list.
Everyone looked so fabulous! ♥ The guys were cool, the girls were princessy. Or maybe we were too used to seeing one another wearing casual. I think some people couldn't recognise us. Jimmy, Yi and AhDa Uncle kept laughing when they saw me. -.- Anyway I was an usher with Yong, Adrian, Zai & Di to guide the KBT people and the Lims to their seats.
I sat with the 5ths and 8ths because my grandmother's table was fully occupied, but it suited me even better like that. At least I don't have to listen to ___ and ___ say stupid stuff. Popped giant poppers (they felt like guns, really) when the couple marched in. Cake-cutting session, then the "sisters" accompanied Tammy to help her change into her other gown. Yamseng session was quite fun, but the champagne was too stinky for our liking. Di and I kept coughing during the banquet, so we opted for soft drinks instead.
Everyone was drinking like there's no tomorrow, thanks to all the 千杯不醉 people in the family and KBT. Sigh. Fortunately, there were no drunkards at the end of the banquet. People were high!
( Afterthoughts )I scored yet another angbao for next year's CNY! Okay, that's not the most important point here. I'm really happy for the two of them, because they are so... Right. All of us have long regarded YiWu as part of the family, but the wedding itself made it more real. And being one of the "sisters" is so fetch okay. The wedding was beautiful!
